The composer Angelo Badalamenti passed away from natural causes on 11/12/22. Marianne collaborated with him on A Secret Life and remembers him with real affection, “I really adored him, He was magic.” She considers 1995’s moody and cinematic A Secret Life, “one of the best ones I’ve ever done.” Looking back, Marianne reflects that “He was really charming, and so, so talented. He certainly brought out something in me that was very, very precious, I’m going to miss him a lot.”
